Give Water. Give Possibility.

A gift here pays for the things that outlast a visit: drilling, casing, pumps, testing, and the local oversight that keeps a borehole working years after the photographs are taken.

$25

Water quality testing and treatment

Covers the testing and treatment consumables that confirm a new borehole is producing water that is actually safe to drink — the step that separates a working pump from a clean water source.

$100

Pump components and fittings

Goes toward the mechanical parts that determine whether a borehole is still running in five years: the pump, the fittings, the platform and the spares a caretaker needs on hand.

$500

A meaningful share of a project

Roughly a tenth of a typical community borehole. Ten gifts at this level, and a community that was walking for water has a water point on its own street.

$4,000+

A complete community borehole

Projects have historically cost approximately $4,000–$6,000 depending on location, drilling depth and site access — Kano projects generally run deeper, and therefore higher, than Lagos.

These describe the kinds of costs your gift helps cover, based on what our completed projects have actually cost. They are not a guarantee that your specific gift funds a specific item.

Where your gift goes. Donations support The Love Water's charitable mission and may be allocated where they are needed most, unless you select a restricted giving option above.

Donations

Before you give

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Love Water is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive an emailed receipt for your records. Product purchases are not donations and are not tax-deductible.

Can I choose what my gift funds?

Yes. Select a restricted option on the form and we will use your gift for that purpose. If you leave it unrestricted, we put it where it is most needed — which is usually the most useful thing you can do for us. If a restricted program becomes fully funded, we will contact you before reallocating anything.

Can I give monthly?

Monthly giving runs through Shopify Subscriptions. If the monthly option is showing a setup notice, it means recurring giving is not switched on yet — please give a one-time gift and we will let you know as soon as monthly is live.

Can I sponsor an entire borehole?

Yes, and it is one of the most direct things a company or family can do. Projects have historically cost approximately $4,000–$6,000 depending on location and site requirements. Get in touch through our partnerships page and we will walk you through a specific community.

What if I need a refund?

Contact us and we will review it. See our Donation & Refund Policy for the full terms.
